Web Site Use Information
- Similar to other commercial web sites, our
web site utilizes a standard technology called
"cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are
Cookies?") and web server logs to collect
information about how our web site is used.
Information gathered through cookies and web
server logs may include the date and time of
visits, the web pages viewed, time spent at our
web site, and the web site visited just before
and just after our web site. This information is
collected on an aggregate basis, and assists us
to design and arrange our web pages in the most
user-friendly manner and to continually improve
our web site to better meet your needs. None of
this information is associated with you as an
individual.
-
Use Of Cookies
- What are cookies? Cookies are small pieces
of information that a web site sends to your
computer for record-keeping purposes, which
information is stored in a file on your
computer. Cookies make web surfing easier for
you by saving your preferences so that we can
use the saved information to facilitate your use
of our web site when you return to the site.
Cookies do not tell us your individual identity
unless you have chosen to provide it to us. We
never save passwords or credit card information
in cookies. The use of cookies is an industry
standard, and as such, you'll find that most
major web sites use them.
By showing how and when Customers use a site,
cookies help us see which areas are popular and
which are not. Many improvements and updates to
the site are based on such data as total number
of visitors and pages viewed. This information
is most easily tracked with cookies. We use the
information from cookies to provide services
better tailored to our Customers' needs.
Most cookies expire after a defined period of
time, or you can delete your cookie file at any
time. Most browsers are initially set up to
accept cookies. You can reset your browser to
refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is
being sent. However, note that some parts of
VitalEquity.com will not function properly or
may be considerably slower if you refuse
cookies. For example, without cookies, you will
not be able to set personalized preferences,
and/or may have difficulty completing marketing
transactions.
VitalEquity.com has two primary uses for its
cookies. First, we use them to specify a
Customer's preferences. For example, Customers
can specify keywords across several categories
or markets so you don't have to tell us
repeatedly about certain features in the home
you are seeking. Second, we use cookies to track
Customers' web site usage trends and patterns.
This helps us understand our Customers' needs
better and improve areas of services that our
Customers find valuable. While both of these
activities depend on the use of cookies, you
have the option of disabling the cookies via
your browser preferences.
-
With whom does VitalEquity.com share my
Information?
- We recognize that the information we collect
from you may, in itself, or when tied together
with other information, identify you as a
specific individual. Your account information
and personal data is maintained by
VitalEquity.com in order to fulfill our legal
and regulatory requirements and to provide you
with the information, products and services you
have requested. As a general rule,
VitalEquity.com will not disclose your personal
information to any third party except with your
permission or under special circumstances, as
discussed below.
VitalEquity.com will disclose to interested
parties information pertaining to the sale of a
house listed in our database. This information
will be posted on our web site and in the local
Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for the purpose
of marketing the home to the greatest number of
potential buyers.
By requesting information or services from
VitalEquity.com, you give VitalEquity.com
permission to transfer your information, as
necessary, to the appropriate parties, such as
the title insurer, loan underwriter, appraiser,

fulfill your request and provide you with the
services you require. All personally
identifiable information you provide to
VitalEquity.com will be made available to your
VitalEquity.com Agent. Generally, your
VitalEquity.com Agent will coordinate the
disclosure of your information to third parties.
This will be done in much the same way as a
traditional Real Estate Agent shares information
with third parties.
The various lending institutions, title
companies and other service providers involved
in your real estate transaction may each have
their own privacy policies governing how they
handle your personally identifiable information.
We endeavor to review these other policies in
order to ensure that the philosophies and values
of our affiliates are in alignment with our own.
However, VitalEquity.com accepts no
responsibility or liability for third party
privacy policies or the actions of any third
party with respect to your personally
identifiable information.
VitalEquity.com does conduct research on our
users' demographics, interests and behavior
based on the information provided by the user
and from our server log files. This research is
compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis
only. For example, we may review how many users
are women, or the average price range of our
users. VitalEquity.com may share this aggregated
data with our business affiliates or, if
required by law, any government agency. However,
we will not sell or lease personally identifying
information to any third party.
VitalEquity.com may disclose personally
identifiable information in certain
circumstances when we have reason to believe
that disclosing such information is necessary to
contact, identify or bring legal action against
someone who may be intentionally or
unintentionally causing injury to or
interference with our rights or property, our
users, or anyone else who could be harmed by
such activities. We may disclose personally
identifiable information when we believe in good
faith that the law requires it and for
administrative or other purposes that we deem
necessary to maintain and improve our products
and services.
Our web site provides links to other web
sites. Please be aware that when you click on
one of these links, you are going to another web

banner, or tool bar may still be visible.
Information you enter on these other web sites
is being collected by that site, not
VitalEquity.com. We encourage you to read the
privacy statements of these linked sites as
their privacy policy may differ from ours.

personally identifiable or demographic
information about you even if you choose to

programs are governed by state and federal law
and require the disclosure and retention of
certain information regarding loan applicants.
However, we will only retain or use such
